About us
Chasing ground effect
Born from a two-student project at the end of high school and inspired by Soviet ground-effect aircraft (ekranoplans), Aéroboat France has since built multiple scale iterations to see which designs exploit ground effect best. Founded in summer 2025 by three students, we now design, test, and measure—with a dual aim: make this physics accessible and fun, and keep pushing its practical use—bringing together aeronautics and model-making enthusiasts.
Founding members
Friends with a shared passion for aeromodelling, our three founders joined forces in April 2025 to create a structure dedicated to ground-effect aircraft. We made our first public appearance at the 2025 Paris Air Show.
